Mother's Day

Nen wrote a poem for me in his Chinese class. The teacher said that it was so beautiful that she read it to everyone and will save it for future generations. Here it is, with the translation:

Mom's smile is like a rainbow,
That chases away the rainy day.
Mom cooks like a royal chef,
Fragrant and delicious.
Mom's eyes are like the sun, rising in the east,
Bringing a new day.
Mom's hair is like silk,
Beautiful and precious.
Mom's voice is like a music box,
Crisp and sweet, makes me feel at ease.
Mom's hands are the inventor,
That conjures up all good things.
