Your notebook

Amor,

Two weeks ago I passed the revised manuscript of our love story to my editor. After her review, I took almost a year to incorporate her suggestions, and I was finally done. The very moment I was going to send it to her, I thought of a couple more things I wanted to add about you, and I couldn't resist. It's ironic how on one hand I want to be done soon, so that I don't forget, and on the other hand, memories keep coming to me not letting me finish. Anyway, I added those two things and sent it to her. Now it will be 3-4 more weeks for her to give me a final OK, and I will finally print it.

Meanwhile I'm taking two online classes. One is a programming class to learn python while building a search engine. There's a new company building a university curriculum online, it's called Udacity. The other is part of a pilot project by the MIT also to teach online. It's called 6002x, about circuits. That way I can review a bit my EE and software development to help me decide what's next on my plate after I'm done with the book.

Today I thought I needed a notebook for the 6002x class, as a record of all the circuits I solve. And I thought about when you years ago (I think it was in the summer of 2003) decided to learn about circuits and started doing it on your own. I wasn't sure I was going to find your notebook, but I did. As usual, I loved seeing your handwriting. I doubted for a moment, but then I thought, yes, that's the notebook I want to use. Your notebook.
I love you. Always.
