A song from the past

Dear love of mine,

I've been suffering from a really bad back pain crisis. I don't remember it so bad in more than a year. In the midst of it I went to see an acupuncturist and, while waiting in the examining room for him to arrive, a song on the piped music immediately caught my attention. It was instrumental so it took me a few seconds to recognize the soothing melody. I started humming along and finally uttered "Ave, Ave, Ave Maria," the Lourdes' hymn. It transported me to those innocent years of prayer and hope, to the peaceful beauty of Lourdes.

I want to imagine you hummed that tune to me, to ease my pain.
